Pressed & Purposed, DBA Education Equipped, is an approved 501(c)3 nonprofit.

As we build the foundation of this organization, our costs will be lower than the projected amount. The projection above will be enacted once all monies are raised and we are able to provide full services.

Any monies raised prior to the goal will be used to:

  • raise awareness

  • provide community workshops free of charge to participants and organizations

  • student and family advocacy and access to counseling services

  • to support community service projects

    - Tutors & Teachers

    - Mental Health Clinicians

    - Event Volunteers

    - Professional Mentors: Mechanics, Gardening, Entrepreneurs, & restaurant professionals

    - Dads on Duty (Men who are willing to mentor the next generation of men.)

    - Security (Once the building is fully functioning)

    - Building or Facility: We will need a collaborative workspace to run out of that sits between CHS and DHS in D11.

    School Partnerships

    - Referral System

    - Identification of At-Risk Students: Schools can refer students who are identified as at-risk due to behavioral issues, academic challenges, or personal circumstances to the community center for additional support.

    - Training and Professional Development: Our organization can come in to provide training on Restorative Practices, Trauma-Informed Classrooms, and Suicide Prevention

    - Parent and Family Engagement: Our organization can provide workshops and seminars for parents and care-givers on topics such as effective communication, positive discipline, and mental health awareness, organized jointly by the school and our organization.

    - Community Service Projects: Service-learning projects that allow students to give back to the community while developing important life skills

    - Collaborative Grant Applications & Resource Pooling
